Namaste friend!

I’m Dagmar, a yoga teacher and advocate for the benefits of wellness and mindfulness, as well as a voice of yogis everywhere.  In my classes I will teach you not only asanas and some Sanskrit words, but also how to cultivate a mindfulness practice, reduce stress, and soothe your thoughts with meditation and movement. 

I will share tips and guidance to meet you where you are in your journey.  Let these classes and my guidance help you make the most of being alive.  I love to teach the Active Aging Population and the Complete Beginner since I know first hand all the challenges and questions a new yogi might have.  After teaching yoga for a bit now, I believe that yoga is for the willing not the flexible. 

FACTS ABOUT ME

I’ve been bending, stretching, and om-ing my way through life for over 10 years. When I’m not on the mat, you’ll probably find me shaking it as a Salsa Dance and Zumba Instructor — yes, I believe life is better with a little rhythm.

Surprising fact? I’m actually not a bad golfer (no, really). I’ve got a soft spot for passport stamps, spontaneous adventures, and good food. I share life with a handsome, kind man who still laughs at my jokes — God bless him — and our four-legged, furry little sidekick, Spartacus the Yorkie (small but mighty).
